A Canadian online pharmacy that sells Viagra and its generic equivalent, called a "Canadian Pharmacy", has been ordered by a judge to stop selling the generic drug and sell it to the public.
In a court filing, Health Canada said it is working with the U. S. Food and Drug Administration to stop selling the drug.
The FDA ordered Pfizer to stop selling the generic Viagra, but that's not the case. A spokeswoman said that the company had "very limited resources to address this issue."
The Canadian company said it has a "large team of regulatory advisers" to help address its concerns.

The drug company sells the generic Viagra for as little as $5 for a 30-day supply, but patients can be charged $50 for a 15-day supply of the drug, which it will sell to the federal government, according to the filing.
